Rare Mayan carved shell with glyphs

Large Rare Carved shell pectoral depicting a stylized alligator, there is a band of carved glyphs along the lower edge and a large deeply drilled round eye.
Some remaining overall red Ocher pigment highlighted surface. Drilled suspension hole at both ends. Intact, exc. cond. A nice and extremely rare example!
